The UK’s national airline is British Airways, and the company offers flights from a number of worldwide destinations, with prices starting at around $830 one way from New York to London. A number of other operators offer flights to the country, and budget flights are becoming more and more common. Flights from New York to London take approximately seven and a half hours. Ottawa to London takes around seven hours. Britain’s numerous international airports offer taxis, coach and bus services into town and facilities include restaurants, bars, banks, bureau de changes and post offices, amongst other things. There are hundreds of airports in the country and many accept international aircraft – London Heathrow is the busiest airport in the world, and the airports in Leeds/Bradford, Belfast, Manchester, Cardiff, Birmingham, Edinburgh and Liverpool are all frequently used.
